On Saturday, March 24, 2012, CFC's Community Education committee brought Jennifer Hopwood from Michigan to speak about native pollinators, particularly bees. Jennifer is the native bee specialist for the nationally respected and recognized Xerces Society. The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation is an international nonprofit organization that protects wildlife through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitat.
