Citizens for Conservation Hosts Make a Difference Day
Citizens for Conservation will host Make a Difference Day, the nation's largest day of community service, on Sat., Oct. 26th. Volunteers will be collecting or cleaning seed of native plants that will be used in prairie restorations in the greater Barrington area. Hours will be 9 - 11:00 a.m.. New volunteers and families are welcome. Groups can register by calling CFC at 847-382-SAVE (7283).
Meet at Citizens for Conservation's Headquarters, 459 W. Hwy 22 in Lake Barrington. Look for the white farmhouse with a silo across from the entrance to Good Shepherd Hospital. Dress for the weather.
On Make a Difference Day 2013, millions of volunteers will unite to improve the quality of lives of others in their communities.
